Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2021 Buick Encore. We're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the Curt four-pole trailer wiring harness. Adding a four-pole to your Encore, it's gonna allow you to safely transfer the lighting signals from your encore to your trailer lights when pulling a trailer. This is gonna be a custom fit installation. It'll tie into the back of your taillight so you don't have to splice in any wiring. more

And when not using your four pole, you can simply just tuck it in this storage compartment, wherever you see a mess, find a good spot for it. This is a good spot over here. Rob: Rob here at etrailer.com and today you're going to be taking a look at the Curt T connector vehicle wiring harness on our 2019 Buick Encore. Now our wiring is going to provide us with a four pole flat trailer connector so we can have all the required lights to get our trailer down the road safely, like our running lights, our turn signals, and our stoplights. Now our wiring's not only gonna work for trailers, it is going to work with all accessories that have lights on it like cargo carriers or even a step. It's going to ride all those signals that we can be safe and everyone knows that there's something in the back of our Buick. Now they are going to provide us with a dust cover so we can keep all the dirt, debris and moisture out of there whenever we're not using it. However, our wiring is designed to stay on the inside of the vehicle when we're not using it.And you can see we'll drop it out the hatch and let it lay whenever we do want to use it. more

Today on our 2018 Buick Encore, we're going to be taking a look at and installing the T1 vehicle wiring harness with 4-pole flat trailer connector. This is what our wiring kit looks like installed. As you can see we have more than enough length here to stretch out to our trailer. This is going to give you all your necessary functions including brakes, running lights, left blinker and right blinker. You don't have to cut or splice into your factory harness. It's simply plug and play. more

You can see we have plenty of extra to get to our trailer. This is gonna give you all the proper lighting functions you're gonna need. You got your taillights, your brake lights, your turn signals, and your ground. It's also gonna come with a dust cap to help keep moisture and the elements off of all of your connections, to help keep from corroding.This wiring does live inside of the vehicle. You wanna make sure, when it's in use, you run it over the top of this rubber seel here, stay away from any connection points. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Buick Encore, we're gonna take a look at and also show you how to install the Curt T-connector vehicle wiring harness with the four-pole flat trailer connector. Part number is C56363.Now, when it's time to use your wiring, you're gonna pull up the tray, here, in the floor. You'll have it located right down here in the storage compartment. You'll pull out whatever length you'll need to make the connection to your trailer. That's gonna rest right over top of that weather stripping when we close the door. That's gonna give us the protection and keep it from pinching it. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2015 Buick Encore- Video
Today on our 2015 Buick Encore we're going to be taking a look at and installing the T1 vehicle wiring harness with four pull flat trailer connector. Part number 118588. Right now our four way trailer plug is stored away from the elements. When we're ready to use it we'll lift up our cover. We can set our wire out through whatever length you're going to need, then we'll lay it across the sill plate, across this rubber weather seal. Just make sure you stay away from the latch area and you can simply close your hatch, remove your cover, plug in your trailer, and you're ready to go. more
